I had emails for wishlist items items enabled, but wasn't interested in receiving others. Unfortunately I keep receiving promotion emails. It kept reenabling it. So I disabled emails completely a week or two ago. Sucks to no longer get wishlist emails, but at least I wouldn't get any more promotion emails.

This week, 'Promotions and hot deals' was reenabled again and can ignore the setting that disables emails.

So how the hell do I disable this? I don't want the promotional emails and they just keep coming no matter how many times I disable them the way that should work. I'm not buying the games they keep suggesting to me. If I want something, I wishlist it, those are the only ones I want to buy on GOG.
Go to settings (you account name on the top bar then Order & Settings) then click on "subscriptions"

This will show all the E-mail you are signed up for, then uncheck the ones you don't want.

And just disable the two bottom ones...
Great, those are (currently) disabled, probably from when I did so with the new email today. But it has been reenabled before. If it happens again, I'll try bitching at support. I'm just getting real tired of those emails.
Have you claimed any of the free giveaway games lately, such as X-Morph or Iratus? One of the conditions on the giveaways is that you get subscribed to the Hot Deals emails. You can, of course, disable that option, but it will get re-enabled the next time you grab a freebie.
