I'd like to change the "New user" below my user name to something different, to better express my personality, but don't know how...has this feature been disabled?

when browsing any forums, click on 'My Settings' in upper right corner (between 'My questions' and 'Help')

Go to My Settings and change the field "Forum Title". The linked my settings is the forum page one (top of most forum pages) which is different from the settings for the account.
