I've just written a review where I complain about a game's writing. Just like with any normal post, I put a space between two sentences to indicate I want it to be on a new paragraph.

Like this! See the empty space above the previous text and this sentence? Works great, doesn't it?

Apparently GoG disagrees and when it comes to reviews, bluntly scrunches it up into one big wall of text and I'm at a loss to understand why. Does it work like Reddit, where for some weird reason you need to put in two empty spaces to create anything resembling a paragraph?

Not being able to edit one's own reviews just makes it more infuriating.

No paragraphs in reviews is one of the new 'features' that came along with the ruination of the site at the 10th Anniversary.

Not only did that ruination prevent new reviews from having paragraphs, but it also retroactively removed all the paragraphs from every other review that had been published at any point before then, almost of all of which originally had paragraphs before the occurrence of the 10th Anniversary site ruination event.

In addition, the ruination event also added non-letter symbols in some places within those reviews, which originally featured letters/words in those places instead.
