I'm looking for anything similar to Strange Horticulture. Nothing war or fighting or violence based. Does GOG have anything like that? I've searched, cant seem to find anything.

Maybe think about that? Instead of saying stupid things when you don't know a person's situation. Maybe YOU should get off your lazy ass and go fight real wars, face violence every day, the risk of being killed - FOR REAL, instead of playing online games? That might be good for you, getting outdoors and actually doing something.

Not that I can think of, even outside here. If you want to do gardening, get outside and do it for real. It doesn’t need to cost anything or take up space and it’s very good for you :o)

I believe the game does have combat, but it's a minor part of the game, only being present in a few areas. For the most part, the game is about running a farm and interacting with the inhabitants of the nearby town.

The first thing that came to my mind after reading "house plants" was Albion. Not what you are looking for though. :)

That, or you can ever grow some crops indoors if you happen to live in an apartment... I'm growing my own chilly peppers :P. It's one of life's mini-games. In "The Guild" series of games I think one of the main occupations your character may have is a pharmacist, which includes collection and planting of herbs, mixing ingredients, etc. You can, of course, hire assistants and assign these tasks to them, or carry them out manually, as you please. Probably not exactly what you are looking for, but I thought it would be worth mentioning.
