Anywho, playtesting would reveal those flaws and hopefully the "game" would get a concept overhaul or else be shit-canned.

Is this thread seriously about to turn into another "Lego wangs" thread without the OP even having misspelled anything?

OP also misspeled Syobon, as Google later informed me, so that didn't help much.

But it's not like the discussion was going anywhere regardless.

Not sure. True Roguelikes and nethack are harsh yet fair (mostly). The suggested listing at the top was purely in the unfair category, suggesting FU moments where you could never have survived unless you knew what was coming beforehand, which is a different level of FU from say Dark Souls games where you learn from your mistakes and keep pressing forward.

Syoban Action is unfair. Socoban is a fair puzzle about moving things without cornering yourself, and actually exists as a minigame in Nethack.
