Green_Hilltop: What is HoMnM? I thought you were talking about Heroes of Might and Magic (abberviated as HOMAM), but what "own albums" are you talking about?
Radiance1979: I'm not sure what you are talking about, most of the time all the first letters of the gametitle are used to my knowledge? anyways that is the less important part of what i'm talking about ;)
Yes i was referring to heroes of might and magic and.... what i noticed was that the same composers fabricated the music for at least 3 4 and 5. There are really a couple of gems found in the OST
Campaign theme XI from III for example or a couple of the city themes from IV , Necropolis for example are true masterpieces :)
My question was aimed at people who are in knowledge about those composers, did they perform miracles for other developers too? did they release albums and are those in the same taste as the might and magic tunes?
I've been appreciating game ost's more and more these past years, especially the ones used in the sci fi branch, such as stellaris, beyond earth etc and are looking for other venue's to expand my library
i found the tracks that GoG supplied and while not the best quality they most certainly qualify as good enough
Your question was hard to understand, and I wasn't sure if you were talking about HOMAM, that's why I've asked to clarify what are you asking. ;)
I've usually only seen the game series abbreviated as HOMAM and HoMM (like the user above mentioned). Better wording would be "What other game OST have the music composers of HOMAM/HOMM 3-4 created?", since your original question did give me a pause.
One of them (Romero) has a Soundclound, so I recommend checking that - he has original tracks as well as various remixes of HOMAM tracks, and some of them are on his Youtube. I love his work on HOMAM II, so check it out if you haven't yet - I prefer the original tracks over the expansion's, if you get the GOG game, I think it automatically replaces all original town music with the expanions' town themes.
I think the fastest way to answer your questions is to check Wikipedia for any OST they have worked on, and then looking it up on Youtube.
