Hey, this is the first time I’ve ever bought anything from GoG and I’m not really off to a good start. I’ve downloaded the GoG Galaxy client and the game (Heroes of Might & Magic 3 Complete) downloaded just fine right afterward, but when I click "install" it briefly tries its best and then pops up with the error message "INSTALLATION FAILED: DISK ACCESS PROBLEM".

What’s up, and how can I fix this?

can you actually Download the game?

What Operating system are you using

Have you updated all device drivers

Are you trying to install it on drive C:\

Click the Image click on "DOWNLOAD BACKUP OFFLINE GAME INSTALLERS"

Then click on Heroes of MIGHT & Magic 3 Complete

you may have to do this in your browser

It should say SETUP_HoMM3.exe and it sould have numbers in it don't worry about the numbers let it download with your internet browser then all you have to do is run it like it was a normal application, See if that helps.
