I have purchased this game from GOG and installed it on my Win 10 PC, but the game crashes everytime I try to launch it. Is there something more that I should do?

Suggest you chk video settings and game requirements. Look at PROPERTIES , bottom choice on menu after RIGHT clik.
Might help to reduce game options, i.e. video, audio, There is HUGH graphics files. I have the original boxed set and it runs OK om W-7 Pro, Quad core at 4gh, ad 16Gb ram, and it hogs resources.

I think you're mistaking Emergence for Remastered. I've seen two or three threads about Emergence launching problems in Homeworld subforum, maybe you'll find your answer there.

On support pages you can find these two suggestions 1
2, and if everything fails, just write to Support, they're there to help you. Snd if they can't you should be eligible for a refund.

Hello.

I noticed many people have problems with running Homeworld Cataclysm/Emergence in higher resolutions in widescreen.

I got the same, it took me some time, but i managed to solve the problem, at least for me, and since I didnt saw that solution here to I post it for others to use if they so need to.

First you need to run game in Win95 compatibility + admin rights
Second, you need to set openGL renderer and resolution(doesnt matter whith one)
Third, you tun reg edit (win+r regedit) and go here:
--> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Sierra On-Line\Cataclysm

In this location you change keys responible for deph, width and height to your preferences.

And its done. Hope this helps.

Sadly no, Emergence runs as its meant to look at the time of its release.

I don't think anyone has say ran any of the Homeworld Emergence textures through an AI or anything - like some have done w/ say SW: KOTOR to improve them.

Don't know how well or poorly this could go, but maybe someone could try, if using NVidia cards, say forcing say AA, Bloom, and whatever other graphical bells & whistles maybe via NVidia panel or Nvidia Inspector?

Maybe that's worth a shot...?

I'm guessing one could use something like say ReShade on Homeworld Emergence?
Or maybe even mix DGVoodoo with ReShade?
