I am not sure if this was kept in mind while designing Menno Cooerhen. So Hjalmar has the ability to boost himself by 10 (From base power 14) when an enemy Lord of Undvik is destroyed. Now, I do that and Hjalmar gets boosted by 10. The opponent uses an Infiltrator and toggles its spy token on. That's where Menno Cooerhen(Base power 8) comes in with his ability of "Damage an enemy by 4 if it is spying destroy it completely". This is the most annoying part of the game and has happened with me at least thrice and I have lost all three or four times. It is like saying that you may damage a unit by 4 but if it is a spy then just destroy it doesn't matter if it is a gold card with 24 power.

This brings about a change of a total of 32 points in one move. It's completely understandable when this happens with Geralt: Igni because it has a couple of conditions which are to be met, like the minimum power of 25, placed on the same opposite row and only the highest are destroyed. Another instance is Coral, it can bring about a lot of change in one move but it affects only bronze and silver units, which is again understandable. But with Menno, you can practically destroy any unit once its spy token is triggered! So whats the point of working on boosting Hjalmar?

I request for a nerf for Menno Cooerhen. A possible solution is to limit its damage 10 or 12 on spying units. Another solution could be to make it affect only bronze or silver units.

You can't. Don't worry about it, the thread will just move off the front page as other threads get posted to.

Then why you don't see conditions for Menno? You, actually, should put a spy token on enemy first for which you should use another card. So, all you just described done by TWO cards (Infiltrator and Menno), not just Menno. Also, if i remember correctly, there are cards which restore units?

And this change of 32 points can happen only:
1. If you run Hjalmar.
2. Lord of Undvik is destroyed boosting Hjalmar.
3. Opponent uses Infiltrator.
4. Opponent uses Menno Cooerhen to kill Hjalmar.

And all this must happen at one round. You must have Hjalmar in hand and opponent must have Infiltrator and Menno Cooerhen in his. Also, he must wait until you use Hjalmar. Don't you think that there are much more conditions to be met than for Geralt: Igni? And if they are met which will happen not very often, why they shoudn't have big impact?

You have a point, but it is fairly easy to play an infiltrator and then Menno Cooerhen once Hjalmar has been played. Nilfgaard has a lot of cards that can be used to cycle to an infiltrator and Menno Cooerhen. You have Cahir who triggers the Leader's (John Calveit here) ability to look at 3 cards from their deck, John Calveit himself, Albrich allows each player to draw the next card, Emissaries can help get an infiltrator, there is Cantarella, Ceallach can spawn an Emissary, Joachim de Wett, Magne Division.

Point is, that it isn't about how many conditions but how easily they are met. Geralt: Igni hasn't been in much use after the nerf and it isn't very easy to get a row have 25+ power most of the times, even if it does it is rarely one single unit that has 25+ power. Yes, it can sometimes provide value much higher than Menno can, but no experienced player would invest all or a lot of points in one unit cause there a re a lot of cards than can cause good damage to them.

Also, having Geralt: Igni can be risky as it needs to be played at the right time in the right manner, as it might end up doing low to no damage in some cases. But Menno is highly likely to work every time. Hjalmar is played towards the end or in the late game and so is Menno usually as the opponent would need to wait for the higher power cards to be played.

Again, if opponent have them both in his hand and haven't played them earlier.

Well:

1. Cahir helps ONLY if opponent plays John Calveit. So, in addition to all requirements add this.
2. Albrich just draw next card which not always will be Menno or Infiltrator. Also, you got one card, so you will need fo something else to get another. Same for Magne Division.

So in the end, you will need to:

1. Spend 1 card to get card you need (i'm not talking about situation when you need to get TWO cards from the deck).
2. Use Infiltrator.
3. Use Menno.

In the end you spent 3 (!!!) cards including at least one gold to kill one single enemy gold! 3 vs 1! So, where is the problem?! Or you think that Hjalmar should be immortal and uncountered? Or that the opponent should spend half of his hand to counter him?!

Point is that Geralt: Igni kills ALL highest value card in 25+ row. If opponent got 3 card 15 power - Igni will kill them all. Menno, with the help of the Infiltrator will kill ONE!
P.S. Just to be clear: i don't play Nilfgaard and i don't even have crafted Menno Cooerhen. :) Right now i play Revival Skellige and they are much more powerful than any Nilfgaard deck.
