NuffCatnip: I don't see how this concerns us, these games aren't sold here.

Johnathanamz: Did you people even read the topic title? I know it is long and it got cut out.

I said HITMAN trilogy or HITMAN World Of Assasination as it will be called soon, shall not be sold on gog.com.
It isn't sold on GOG, what's your point?

We're talking about very good games which we have all prior entries; and the developer's stubbornness to not package them to our standard is WHY they're not sold here. Or tl;dr, we can't have the nice thing and that's bad.

Reading your post, I couldn't help but laugh.
It fits to a "T" to what I have posted just about an hour ago:

https://www.gog.com/forum/general/how_would_you_feel_about_drm_if/post38

Quote:
"GOG's "biggest" problem is its customer base (or rather the most vocal part of that base here in the forum (so: ~150 to 200 users)).

Those expect the rest of the world to bend to their (DRM-free) demands, and they expect GOG to serve as a battering ram in that regard."

From the devs standing point, I'm pretty sure the situation appears turned around by 180 degrees:
due to our stubbornness not to accept DRMed games, we can't have the nice things they wanted to offer to us.

;)

Oh ok I see so I have no point for all of the wishlist for video games we want sold on gog.com then?

Correct.
The wishlist is a hoax.

BreOl72: Sure. But they kinda answered that already in the quote I posted
I don't think that qualifies as "kind of an answer" from them, as their quoted statements says absolutely nothing about what they cut from the newest repackaging, or in other words, in what ways they are screwing consumers over in this newest repackaging via cutting content from it.

Johnathanamz: Can you just stop with this? I am going to ignore you from now on if you keep up with this.
If you want to ignore me go right ahead, but I have no clue what you are on about, as I am not trolling you, not targeting you or any such nonsense. Now and then you post something I don't agree with or understand, and so I say something.

Maybe you have me mixed up with somebody else.

Johnathanamz: It is relevant to gog.com.

All other video games that do this on gog.com that are missing bonus content also need to always be called out.
As of yet it isn't, and after what happened with Hitman GOTY it seems highly unlikely to come to GOG any time soon, if ever, certainly not in a bastardized state. So much ado about nothing on your part right now, certainly in relation to GOG.

Good god this is a mess. I'm not buying a Hitman game ever again, gog steam or whatever.

The bad thing about it is they made it online thing only
the mixed thing about it is they made it live-service game.
the good thing about it is they made a awesome game.

I will wait for Jan 26. To see what content were removed.
It may come back but no guarantee what would happen. Even if it doesn't return, we already gotten the original Hitman games.
