bhrigu: Does it run on windows 10?
The gamecard lists only XP, VIsta, 7 and 8.
I just played/finished without any problems on Windows 10.
A small bump because a few games from the list are now on sale. Come on guys, read, get convinced and buy :D If you want to add new entry feel encouraged to do so!
A few games are on sale again so let me bump this thread. Remarkable reviews about games that has a pretty high discount:
The Nations Gold Edition
Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon
Return to Mysterious Island
Nox
Deadlock: Planetary Conquest

Buy these games people and don't forget to play them!
I felt like pricing the games for this xmas sale. In USD:

..1.49...75%...Nations Gold
16.99.....0%...AI War collection
..0.99...90%...Dracula 1-3 (1.99 for Dracula 4+5)
14.99.....0%...TRI: Of Friendship and Madness
19.99.....0%...Anima: Gate of Memories
16.99.....0%...Shadwen
..3.29...45%...King's Bounty: The Legend
..5.99.....0%...Bad Mojo Redux
14.99.....0%...Driftmoon
..0.99...90%...Return to Mysterious Island
..4.79...20%...Gabriel Knight 2
..1.49...75%...Nox
14.99.....0%...Legend of Grimrock 1
..5.99.....0%...Tzar: The Burden of the Crown
..7.99.....0%...Sanctuary RPG: Black Edition
14.99.....0%...Octodad: Dadliest Catch
..1.49...75%...Deadlock: Planetary Conquest
..4.99.....0%...Escape Goat
..0.89...85%...Shadow Man
19.99.....0%...Door Kickers

So Dracula, Return and Shadow Man are only a buck each, and Nations, Nox and Deadlock a buck fitty.

Have you played Dracula 4 and 5?

BlueMooner: Have you played Dracula 4 and 5?
My wife was big into those games. If I recall correctly, 1-3 were very good, 4-5 were less so, but still playable.

Bisess: Brigador

Remember the "tank control" scheme from games such as Crusader No Remorse/No Regret?
Here it's properly applied to actual tanks, mechs, exo-suits and anti-grav vehicles you're steering through isometric urban and suburban landscapes you can utterly and completely lay waste to, Red Faction-style.
THE demolition and "scorched earth"-simulator.
I'll second this. So far, I'm loving this game. And I don't do 3rd person sci-fi action much. It's fun, fully destructible, pretty, and has lots of depth in strategy.

Momodora: Reverie Under The Moonlight
Bloodrayne Betrayal
Rabi Ribi(not on GOG)
This Is The Police
I highly recommend Robin Hood: Legend of Sherwood., especially if you enjoyed Commandos or Desperados. I really love this game and its (kind of magical, fabled) atmosphere.

Matewis: Deadlock : Planetary Conquest

Summary : A unique, atmospheric and addictive TBS. Recommended for any TBS fan after something a little different.
A fun twist on a sci-fi TBS. Just watch out for those sly (hilarious) AI opponents who send you messages like "We're losing! Quick, hit CTRL-ALT-DELETE!!"

BlueMooner: Have you played Dracula 4 and 5?
Here is my ~3 years old review about them. But as far as I can see I didn't say anything meaningful there, I was just comparing them to Dracula 3 over and over again ;P So to keep it more informative: Dracula 4+5 should be played together but are still short for an adventure game. Puzzles and the story are somewhat decent but nothing really special. Play if you want to get a complete story but you won't miss much if you decide to skip them
I love the effort some people put into their recommendations, and I love this thread. +1 to all of you!

Bloodrayne Betrayal

This Is The Police
Could you please write a few words about these games? :) The idea of the thread was to provide some valuable information why you think some games are worth our time, posting a simple list doesn't really help much. Thanks!
Okay. Here goes.

Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight
Often described as a 2D Dark Souls, Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight follows priestess Kaho as she tries to rid the land of a curse. Roll to dodge and fight enemies and Soulslike boss monsters with bow and arrow and your trusty swordlike maple leaf.

Bloodrayne Betrayal
I never got into the earlier 3D Bloodrayne games, but this is Way Forward's take on the character. If anything, Way Forward have shown they are adept at 2D hand drawn character animation, and it shows here. While the mechanics aren't as fluid as in Shantae, the visuals still pop. Slash baddies with your twin swords and finish them up with your guns. Bite enemies in the neck to regain some health or to infect them so that you can blow them up.

Rabi Ribi
A Metroidvania that tries to cute you to death. An ordinary rabbit wakes up one morning to find she's been transformed into a human girl wearing a Playboy bunny suit in a land of other cute human girls wearing much the same thing. In addition to the other elements Metroidvanias are known for, where you explore and find items and skills to unlock new areas, Rabi Ribi takes after the bullet hell shooters, where boss fights see you dodging intricate patterns and returning with your magic spells and hammer whacks.

This Is The Police
A gritty comic book style game featuring low poly count, almost minimalistic graphics. It is divided into two segments. The story telling part where you watch the hardboiled day to day drama of the disgraced chief of police while he counts down the days towards his retirement. And the dispatching part where you manage a crew of cops, a few detectives, and one swat team, and then send them out to answer calls, solve crimes, and stop high risk situations. Each cop is not a faceless pawn. They each have their own needs and personalities, as well as differing adeptness ratings that can rise and fall. Do you send out that ten star rookie with the two hundred star veteran in the hopes the ten star might gain points? Or do you keep him back for the milk runs for fear he might botch the important calls or worse yet, get killed?

And one more...
Mystik Belle(also only on Steam)
It's utterly bonkers how much fun I'm having with this game. It's also another Metroidvania that goes for charm, but one with a "school of monsters and witches" atmosphere of cute meets ghoulish. Little Belle MacFae has been accused of ruining an important witch brew, a crime she didn't commit, and risks expulsion. She gets one shot to gather the ingredients to recreate the brew before the night is over. Run and jump onto platforms Castlevania style as you roam the halls of your school and beat baddies with whacks from your broom or shoot them with your fireball spells. Find key items to solve puzzles by using the right item on the right interacting point to progress some more in the adventure.

I have this actually on my wishlist. However I am no hardcore gamer and I just don't have the time to practice that much. Whenever I am hearing people comparing a game to Dark Souls (last time happened with Hollow Knight) the game was extremely hard to beat at all. Is this the case here as well?

I have about maybe an hour of playtime in and started the game on easy mode, which was enough to beat the first boss with no sweat. There's no indication that this game has points system to hoard and use to get stronger like in Souls. As far as I know, this game favors finding items and charms to help. You start out with an item that lets you heal three times, but that could just be an easy mode thing. I've heard this game starts to fall in love with spikes later on, but it doesn't seem like it's for cheap deaths.
I'd say the hardest game on my list is Bloodrayne Betrayal. It beats you stupid, gives you an F at the end of each stage for actually surviving the damn thing, and asks you to come back for more when you have better gear. Momodora is at least tough but fair.
