I've marked a few games in my Library as 'Hidden' but they still show up in the Updated section but 'greyed out' so not really hidden?

Why is there an 'Hidden' section when I can still see 'Hidden' games in the Updated section, i've hidden them as I don't want to see them let alone update them?

The only place I expect to see them is if I select the 'Hidden' section!

Yeah, the update notification always triggers, regardless of hide status. (You're here since 2012 and just noticed it now?) At least it's not stuck, so you just have to click on them to make it go away.

Yeah, it has always been like this. Which is why I'm also of the opinion the hide does not replace a delete option (which support always tells you). If the games are shown all the time with the update notes, it is not like a delete.

I've only just recently decided to 'hide' some games so have never noticed this behaviour before :)

I know once clicked they will go away (even if you don't download anything) but would be nice for hidden games to stay hidden so you don't get false update notifications!

Not a bug, unfortunately. Would prefer said games to be muted.

Good. I hide games when I complete them, so I have an easier time picking what to play next. I definitely want all update notifications to show, so I can keep my offline installers current.

If there was a way to simply hide games with a certain tag, and that view was remembered whenever you opened the library, then things would be different.

Not much of an issue really, as it is easily dealt with ... until next time.

Folk here use HIDE for different reasons, and so we wouldn't want a blanket 'not show hidden game updates'.

You are only seeing these hidden games, grayed out on the Updates tab. If that really bothers you for that little instant, then you probably have some kind of OCD issue, as they should be easily ignored otherwise ... not like your whole library is showing on the Updates tab, and they can be clicked on and then won't show after a reload. And if you keep up with updates, it's not like you are seeing many games in the Updates tab.
