Druidstone: The Secret of the Menhir Forest is a new type of game for me at least and it's really fun playing the missions.. dying.. learning.. then playing better. Thought I wouldn't like it at first (especially with no manual.. damn that's old) but it's grown on me.

Just wanted to share that. lol

Don't you mean it's NEW? ;)

(Manuals not being a part of games[or digital copies only] has been more a modern trend[sadly])
Yeah...it's a weird game. It looks great...but it plays like an old school game with a unique perspective. It definitely feels like Grimrock. So no surprise to know that it's from the same people.
But then again...if I wanted to play a Grimrock-esque kind of game...why not just play Grimrock? Everything that feels out of place in Druidstone feels perfect in Grimrock. So I don't see the appeal in playing a somewhat downgraded version of the same game.

Plus...I hate puzzles. So sadly that was a complete deal-breaker for me.

But yeah, it looks pretty sweet. So if "it's really fun" for you then good for you, man. =)
good to hear, comrade!

I got me eye on it. will'proly pick it up at some point.
"We're goin' from fifteen feet Harry. It's fun."
