I was playing Obduction this morning on my desktop PC and must not have quit the program and left it running. In the meantime I have had an electrician at the house and he must have cut all power at some point. When I try to 'Resume' game I get a blank screen. Is my game irretrievably lost or is there some way I can recover it. I also get 'fatal error' message when I try to log into GOG Galaxy. Please can anyone help?

It could of been corrupted by the blackout but normally that shouldn't happen from a blackout. What I mean is games crash and usually the only affected is the save.I would delete all game/files and reinstall.About Galaxy, contact support if the game is run via Galaxy.

If you are using GOG Galaxy, please run a "Verify & Repair" check on the game and see if that helps :)

To run a Verify & Repair check, go to the game in your library in Galaxy, click on the "More" button, from the dropdown menu select "Manage installation" and then select "Verify & Repair".

If all goes well, that *should* get you back up and running :)

Also, like Tauto mentioned, you could be facing a corrupted save so try starting a new game just in case :)
