So I'm interested in making a GOGmix so that people can find out which GOG games are playable on Intel-based tablets running Windows. Of course, there are a number of games that can be played on Android/iOS/non-Intel Windows by virtue of third-party solutions (ScummVM, GemRB, alternative DOSBox builds such as DOSBox Turbo), those won't be addressed here. I'm only looking for games that can run on Intel Windows tablets without adding additional peripherals such as a mouse, keyboard or controller. I'll be including games that run with minimal modification in a separate list.

While there are plenty of games that may seem obviously compatible, it's worth noting that any game using DOSBox, even if they can be played entirely with a mouse, is not compatible with such a tablet out of the box. The reason for this is that the vanilla Windows build of DOSBox that GOG games use won't run unless there is a mouse connected to the system. This can be a virtual mouse installed as software, but it still needs a mouse, and even with a virtual mouse, you have all kinds of problems related to the mouse buttons (tapping on the screen ends up left clicking elsewhere on the screen). There may be an alternative build that allows use on mouse-less devices (ECB) but I've not tested them. Daum Cafe does not work.

Many Windows games also have the problem that, while being entirely playable with a mouse, they either require at least one keyboard press or are dependent on being able to play by pressing the right-mouse button at short notice. Windows simulates right-clicks with "long presses", but whether individual games respect this is another thing.

I'll be updating this as and when I can test games.

My experience so far:

Fully working:
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition

Nearly working:
Sherlock Holmes: Secret of the Silver Earring (requires dgVoodoo to be used on some devices whose default orientation is upright, impossible to open the menu and save or quit without an Escape key)

Not working:
Tex Murphy: Mean Streets
Cannon Fodder

I haven't used it much lately, but I own a Windows 7 tablet and have played a few of my GOG games on it. Without doing much research, I can confirm right now that Banner Saga 1 ( and most likely its sequels ) works fine, and so does Shadowrun Returns ( and again, most likely its sequels as well ). I also played the little casual puzzle game Triple Town on my tablet. Seems to be optimized for mobile devices, so again, no issues.

Heroes of Might & Magic 3 worked fine, but certain actions require a keyboard ( such as splitting a stack of troops ). Should mostly be playable without a keyboard, but it's not ideal.

The Braveland and Kingdom Rush games should also work, because like Triple Town they're optimized for mobile devices. World of Goo should also work.

Most modern ( and some old ) P&C adventures should also work. I played Moebius: Empire Rising for a while on my tablet, and don't remember any issues, but it's been a while. Long Live the Queen works too.

Mousecraft should also work, unless I'm forgetting about any keyboard actions here. And The Warlock of Firetop Mountain can also be controlled entirely via left mouse-clicks, but it's currently only available at Humble Store, not GOG.

Some more potential candidates: The Blackguards games and Dead State. I haven't tested them on my tablet, but as far as I can remember both can be played using only the mouse. They do have somewhat high system requirements, though. Then again, they're also turn-based, so FPS aren't as much of an issue.

Also, do Stasis and Cayne require keyboard commands?

I had made this list for myself, a while ago. It's very much outdated, but it also links to steam lists that are kept more uptodate. So, you can use it as a material.

I've got quite a lot of experience with my GPD Win, but I'm guessing that due its physical controllers and a bit different architecture it's not qualifying to this thread (I'll probably make separate thread for it :P)).

Thanks for sharing -- Your list seems to confirm many of the games I mentioned in my post.

Just looked it up and it seems like a fun little gadget. Does it run any recent games, or mostly old console games, and PC games with low requirements?

Well, I admit that so far I was testing it mostly on some classics and 2D indie games (Eador: Genesis, Drums of War, Freedom Planet, Freedom Planet 2 (demo), Jazz Jackrabbit 2, Sonic Riders, Spelunky, Panzer Corps, Warhammer 40k: Armageddon, Sonic Mania, Avernum 2: Crystal Souls, Warhammer 40k: Rites of War etc - all of them were working absolutely fantastic).

One of the reasons is, that 3D games are eating energy from battery much faster than those 2D games (e.g. I can play in Freedom Planet or Panzer Corps about 7-8 hours, while in case of Sonic Heroes it's eating 2 times more power. And it's getting quite hot when playing in 3D games for longer amount of time. I know that there are plenty of evidences (YT is full of those recordings, as well as lowspecgamer advices regarding playing in newer titles), that people were playing in such games as Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed or Bioshock, but it always came with limits of FPS and rather on lowest possible detail level.

But I've got to be honest - I feel that I can play comfortable in 2D platformers or turn-bases strategy/tactic games, but in terms of RTS or FPS it's far more comfortable for me to play on my home computer. I'm guessing that area to experiment is quite wide, but I wouldn't try to launch there more demanding titles from last 3-4 years. I simply appreciate more longer battery life on one charging and comfort of playing. So I'm personally not a big fan of trying to squeeze the juice from GPD Win (preferring better battery life and no need to worry about dealing with "non-standard" tweaks.

Don't Starve There's a mod somewhere that makes it work on single clicks, but it's perfectly playable without the mod.

The Sadowruns I've only tried Returns on my tablet, but I suspect all three will work fine.

Infinity Engine Already mentioned, but pretty much any IE game will work. The only catch, you need a keyboard to enter your characters name. I had to switch it to windowed mode, and use the virtual keyboard, so it isn't a real problem.

Arcanum Works fine.

Mini Metro Works fine.

DOSBox Some DOSBox games will work, as long as you have a touch-enabled version of SDL in DOSBox. You can download this one. It's seriously as simple as pasting this .dll into the dosbox folder. I used this with Ultima Underworld.
