Hello Everyone,

I need to ask you a big favor: if you can help me remembering the name of a game.

This game is very basic 2D. You are a sort of astroship and the only thing you can do is to... cut parts of the image of a scenario that represents a level. The part that you cut displays the same image but in black and white. If you cut more than half of the scenario then you pass to the next level. There are enemies, sort of mechanical insects, that float freely on the screen (as in an old screensaver). If they touch you while you are cutting the screen, then you die. If they are in the part that you cut away, then they die.

May you help me in finding the name of this old game? Thank you in advance!
K.
Maybe some Qix clone?

Nice! So, not exactly a clone. More like a sequel. (and I forgot to warn that most Qix clones are NSFW....)
What does NSFW mean?

Maxvorstadt: What does NSFW mean?
I'll give you a hint: it starts with an N-word.

Naughty? Necessary? Nimble?

Not suited for work.
The game was also ported to the PC. Vote here if anyone would like it on GOG:

Volfied was awesome fun!
My NSFW clone of choice was this little game called "Ladylove". Can't find any non-abandonware-site links to it, though.
I remember playing Volfied. It's one of those old DOS games that I kept coming across on most computers. Simple enough that even non gamers could waste some time on it.
