Hey everyone, what's up?
I can't remember the name and some features of this game, I was too young when I played this, so I'll try to describe it the best as I can:

- Male protagonist with some kind of alien on his body. (I don't remember why)
- It evolves at later levels making him look like a monster.
- It's a 2D game, side scroller if I'm not mistaken, but it has some 3Dish rendering and some few cinematics in 3D
- I think the guy could use guns to shoot the others
- Pretty sure he had to kill policemen that were trying to capture him or something like that.
- I don't remember the end, I think I've never beaten it.

OBS.: I'll probably buy it here if it's on GOG.

Try to describe the very first level in detail and intro. 2D scrolling + guns (you think) does it mean that game is some kind of arcade beat'em up? What about police, are they the main enemy, the occasional enemy, something else? Some kind of alien - it's good you remember it, now please provide some details. How alien, what part was alien, etc.

Was it more run&gun or more jumping? Exploration focused or more linear? Were there puzzles to solve?

OK, it's really hard to remember, but it's not much about run&gun since your ammo is pretty limited.
The Game is linear and I don't remember any puzzles, though it had some hidden items I think.
At the very beginning I remember a cutscene of blood cells and a parasite invaded the protagonist body. It slowly starts turning into alien after each stage.
The police is often an enemy but I don't know if it was the main enemy.
It's a kind of a platformer more than a run&gun style, yet you could play stealth I think and pass through enemies who didn't see you.
