I found a picture of me playing a game on an old PC in the late 80's (I know, I'm adorable), but I was trying to find out which PC I was using. Oddly enough our family actually had a number of computers throughout my childhood, despite the fact that we were not rich (we were just a bunch of nerds), but I can't quite figure out what PC I was using in this image. I'm leaning towards the Tandy 1000, but I'm not exactly sure what model this would be (also the monitor if you know). Any thoughts?

Without actually seeing a picture, it's rather difficult trying to identify the computer in it.

Did I not include an attachment? I thought I did ... unless something went wrong.

* I'll include a copy of it with this post to see if it shows up.

Looks like a Tandy 1000 EX. The HX and EX share a similar profile but the HX doesn't have the floppy drive on the side.

I think you might be right, but I'm a bit thrown off by the keyboard. The keys seem spaced apart in the picture, but the EX looks like there's no separation between the keys. Is there a chance it could be something else?

It might just be the angle that the photo was taken at. Here is an image of the EX from more of a side view (I didn't come across any from the exact same angle). The headphone jack, volume knob, DIN connectors and floppy drive all match up with your picture.

Hmmm .... pretty sure it's a Dell
Looks similar to a Commodore 64 the one with the inbuilt floppy

Oh here is a pic http://www.old-computers.com/museum/photos/tandy_1000ex_r-side.jpg

Seems like it may have been a Tandy [Radio Shack] 1000 ex

My very first Home Computer

https://physicsmuseum.uq.edu.au/vz200-colour-computer

God I'm old!

Run everything from the Cassette tapes!
Freek is right it's a Tandy 1000ex with an old CRT monitor, the internal floppy and ports give it away. I was ready to say an apple II but they have external drives.
I would agree with previous posters.
My first computer was a Tandy 1000HX. :) I had a lot of fun. I had a disk with that blue and yellow "windows" [Edit: looked it up; Deskmate]. It had hangman and stuff. I had copies of Santa Fe Trail, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy. We saw nothing wrong with copying disks.
Radioshack used to sell Tandy PCs. My elementary school had Tandy and Commodore PCs.
