just like the title says, GOG connect can't seem to detect Amnesia: a machine for pigs on my steam account but it detected the first one fine and psychonauts, i did get it for free though but since it detected Amnesia the dark descent on GOG connect which i also got for free i thought it will be able to detect the expansion just fine.
A Machine for Pigs is not an expansion. So I'm not sure why it would not detect it if it picked up the others.

Make sure the game can be viewed in your profile's game list, as viewable by the public. GOG can not read your library section.

Also, when the base game is on Connect, that doesn't mean the DLC or expansions will also be on connect. For instance, Sunless Sea was on Connect, but Zubmariner was not. Sad face.
This was discussed in another thread already, for some reason it didn't get recognized for several people instantly. Clicking install in Steam and then after a while reload on the connect page seems to fix the issue for many.
Also, if you haven't yet, check your Steam privacy settings, they changed things up a bit with a recent update and your profile and/or game list might be set to private, it needs to be public for Connect to work

i already have the privacy settings set to public, i also have psychonauts on steam and that game got recognized immediately, i actually just noticed i have machine for pigs but haven't installed it or anything but now i have it installed maybe i'll wait for a while before trying to refresh again, but i was actually surprised that i had the game on steam, that's why i was curious why it was not detected, maybe it's just this game specifically having this problem.

Two things have been suggested in the previous threads on the problem:

1) Delete and reinstall the game from Steam. That helped some folks.

2) Reset your Steam privacy settings. With the recent start of the EU privacy's laws, Steam made changes in their privacy settings. Marking your Steam account to private and then back to public has also helped folks.
VeTrack, if u reading this, BIG thank you for helping me out.

For the others. What i did with the help of VeTrack in addition to already mentioned a couple posts above, was to start amnesia on steam and leaving it playing for around 15 min. After i closed the game and steam updated the playtime information, the game poped up immidiatly on connect.

Cheers

"GOG can't detect my amnesia"

What a concept. XD
Just another confirmation that the workaround of turning your Steam account's privacy settings to private then back to public fixed the problem for me (for both Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs and FTL). Strangely, Prison Architect and PsychoNauts were detected and added by GOG Connect right off the bat before having to do this workaround..

Also, I logged off Steam between the two steps, but I don't know if that was necessary.
