As the title says, the GOG galaxy launcher is not syncing with Steam. I searched for answers but all i got was an old post on this forum and it wasn't very helpful for me.
Also, every single information on the githubs i found (aweasome gog galaxy, FriendsOFGalaxy, etc.) wasn not helpful at all.
And by that I mean there's absolute no information on what to do exactly. What to download, where to put it, everything.
Forgive if it seems i'm being rude, i'm just frustrated.
Could anyone help me and guide me in fixing this Sync problem? I know some people have been having this problem for a while now.

If I'm not mistaken, ABaumher on GitHub is still the latest fix. Clicking the previous link will take you to the list of releases. Click "Assets" below the latest one to expand that section. Over there, download windows_with_installer.zip. Unzip to the desktop, then launch auto-copy-windows.bat while GOG Galaxy isn't running.

Thanks for this ling, it resolve my issue with steam integration on le gog galaxy beta for me.
I get the same issue... Feel a bit hesitant to use random installer from internet to fix this.
Is this Steam or GOG issue, don't even know. But Galaxy Syncing Steam is definitely not working for a week now.
Recently updated Win10->Win11, maybe that's the problem :D
Even uninstalled Galaxy, and did a restart+reinstall, problem persists.

Answer has already been posted: Use ABaumher's integration.

All Galaxy integrations except Epic are made by the community and not GOG.

Yes I did read it and check the github which seemed to offer nice and straightforward installation guide.
I guess just surprised that an official feature of Galaxy needs this kind of fix.. like you could integrate this into a Galaxy update, no? Thinking in terms of security for instance, I'd feel more comfortable. But yeah maybe this is how things are :D

You could, but this whole integration thing was quite a mess. GOG does not support it, third parties have to.
Whenever Steam changes something, someone needs to upgrade the plugin and GOG doesn't.

Okay, I can see the problems rising there. Thank you very much for walking me through this :)
