Even their settings, such as the distinct Shadow Warrior Classic settings exe.

In my previous system, only Mortal Kombat pack would do that. Now, at 64 bit environment, all DosBox is green dead thing big screen wang!

Any advice...? Pretty please with sugar on top?

Have you tried setting them to another output renderer?

OK, I am running on W8.1 with a 64 bit environment and are having no problems.

But what I did in the beginning, I did install directx 9.0c, which helped a lot.. IIRC even some of the old games use directx3 or similar which is included in 9 but not 10 onwards.

Give it a try and let us know ;)

Normally all dos box games shall run with default settings....never had to play around with it.....

One other thing you might want to try, check for updates for the graphic card, or even use e prior version, sometimes this helps as well.

Does it happen on fullscreen DOSBox? If yes, you might want to try this.

Please try this, KiNgBrAdLeY7 : http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/DOSBox#Green_or_black_screen_in_fullscreen_mode

Green or black screen in fullscreen mode •

Information With some video cards, DOSBox's default output mode will render with a green or black screen in fullscreen mode.

Edit DOSBox configuration file (non-GOG.com versions)
Edit the DOSBox configuration file (dosbox-0.74.conf, dosbox.conf, or similar).
Change output=surface to output=overlay
Save your changes and run the game again.
If the problem persists, edit it again and try different modes until you get one that works.

Run Graphic Mode Setup (GOG.com versions)
Run the game's Graphic Mode Setup in the Start Screen/Start Menu.
Change Graphic mode to "Overlay" or "DDraw".
Choose Save Settings and run the game again.
If the problem persists, run it again and try different modes until you get one that works.

To change the renderer, just go to the "Dosbox configurator" shortcut for any given game (it should be in the game's directory and the game's entry in the start menu of Windows. It's basically a program that allows you to change certain parts of DOSbox's configuration.
Just try different options in the "Output" setting and check whether it helps at all.

You can also get full control of DOSbox by going to the game's directory and editing the .conf file.

See them as two different series: up to 9 (including), and 10-and-above. The two different series can co-exist, but not different versions within each series.
Aaand, SOLVED! But for some reason, full screen always freezes, windows always runs correct. Now to find the button map.....

Thanks! But i put it wrongly (damn my low communications skill)... I meant the individual game's button map... When game runs in DosBox, all keyboard buttons remain totally unresponsive...
