Timboli: That is extremely bad.
Once you have paid for a game and it is in your library, they have no right to remove the download. They can do updates to the download, but not remove it altogether. Especially if you purchase a game based on that certain state. And this is why even with GOG, I download as soon as I reasonably can, basically immediately after purchasing in most cases.

Trust no-one and nothing ... not even your own brain ... unless you absolutely have to.
Well I did get a refund in the end, but it was because I hadn't touched the Steam key.
Bought two games from there today .

Trainz Classics Volume 1&2 download was fine , but was unable to save the instaler ( 16 bit application error )

Trainz Classics 3 download was fine , installer was saved .

my name is supyreor catte: Yup, just discovered that a game that was gifted to me long ago is conspicuously missing from my account.
I had that same problem with Uplay! What ever happened to my free possession of most of the Far Cry games, Watch Dogs 1/2, and Ass-Creed: French Edition?

Well the first problem sounds like the installer is there but the installer itself is 16 bit (i.e. not compatible with 64 bit Windows). They should really mention that in the system requirements.

That's a weird one, and in this day and age most people are running a 64 bit OS, so that type of installer is relying solely on someone with an older 32 or 16 bit OS, and in that case kind of weird that they do without mentioning it ... or did it install okay? I imagine all their games come in the same download wrapper, which is likely 32 bit.

If it did install okay, then I'm not sure how that application error prevents saving the installer. That sounds more like you then tried to run the installer and it crashed with that error. But the trick is to save the installer before doing the install part. The saved installer might crash on your 64 bit machine, but would likely run on a 32 bit one.

In any case, I would certainly contact Support over the error.

I already received a refund . =)
Well, just to let people know, GG still haven't fixed the corrupted installers for some of my games. They're still "investigating" the issue, allegedly.
