Because I am wondering if I can even play this game at all on my PC on Ultra settings while still being stable.

I mean I had this PC since 2013 and its now running a GTX 1070 and I am amazed I can run the latest games that came out.

Like I can play Doom Eternal just fine on this PC.
Doom Eternal is an extremely well optimized game and not the norm. I played Doom Eternal at max settings, 120fps, which is crazy for a new release.

I'm sure a 1070 will run Cyberpunk, but no you should not expect anything near ultra settings. I don't expect ultra settings on my 2070.
Yeah doom is the best graph/speed.
Wish other games could come close to it when released, not like New World which is slow and lagggy :(

Unlikely, have a 1080, and noticed a few slowdowns in modern games. Likely cyberpunk will be quite heavy. Was there something about it using ray tracing as an option. Am planning to upgrade to a 3080 as soon as they are released, not for cyberpunk but for other games and future compatability.
As a comparitor, I don’t expect Witcher 2, which was terribly optimised and heavy on new features, to work on my current setup.

Well, it only has to run mario and some glowy creature effects, it’s hardly hardware heavy. Boing boing glory kill ladidadedeh.

No doubt it will run the game with some settings compromised, i would be more worried about the CPU throttling the performance depending on which 2013 CPU that is since you haven't talked about changing that one.

There is usually a huge disrepancy in optimization between Max and High settings in most games because high is the baseline and max is tacked on for eye candy, I don't doubt that you will able to make 2077 extremely demanding if you want to.

Enough for an awesome game what else do you need?

I am not sure, did awful get autocorrected to awesome on your device. (To be fair I don’t think eternal is awful, it is however terrible hampered by the slowdown glory kill the, the lack of ammo, and the bouncy platforms everywhere).
