Happy Birthday, Oblivion, farewell ^_^
And also, on August 31 of this very year, Daggerfall will be twenty years old.

Now there's a game that would still be highly playable today... if it were not for those motherf%€#ing dungeons whose automap would reset every time you had to leave them.

Do they? I never noticed that.

Yep.
You'd spend hours and hours crawling through a dungeon...
If for some reason you had to leave the dungeon (to go to a town fetch more potions or repair your weapons, when you returned... POOF) the automap would be completely blank.
Ah, Oblivion. I don't think I've ever put as much time, and had as much fun, with something so broken in so many ways.
Oblivion is the Elder Scroll game that reject me most.

Skyrim, First time I played it I just got hooked and spend hours into it

Morrowind, it takes a forcefull week to finally understand the appeal, and then it become a lifetime favorite

Oblivion, oh oblivion. Tried it once. Didn't 't like it. 3 month later, tried it for 2nd time. Didn't like it also. Some month after, somehow the game was calling me. I Installed the game, and have a blast playing it. But, that one time only. Now, the only thing I enjoy from Oblivion is sightseeing, and peaceful atmosphere of countryside village
