Alexander_Trilberg: I totally agree with you! By the way, I am actually planning to buy a new kegerator. Have found reviews list of greatest ones for 2018 - but still trying to find the best one for me.
Hey! I actually had a blast building mine - plenty of pointers on the internet about how to do it, but basically what I did was take a chest freezer, wire in a temperature controller and gorgeously stain some poplar wood and fit it with Perlick taps. I LOVE this thing and it's nice enough to sit in any room of like 7.3 out of 10 houses.
Beyond that the only advice I have for you is, you get what you pay for. If you buy a $250 USD kegerator (I dunno - like 135 - 160 Euro?) it's going to be garbage - it won't keep temp, you'll have to buy a bunch of parts just to get it to keep your beer from being 80% foam and you'll be super annoyed. It really is one of those areas where you get what you pay for.
But if you're the least bit mechanically inclined, I totally endorse building your own - it's a VERY fun project and you'll use it *ahem* every day. Or so I hear... ;)
