The aliens in the trailer have quite a temper XD
Played it over the weekend on Normal difficulty. It certainly teaches you to make more than one fleet ...later on down the road :D

Also, the aliens are fun especially the Collective, where you have an alien that is almost literally the incarnation of the r/totallynotrobots subreddit :D

yogsloth: $500 Canadian bones, eh?

IAmSinistar: Yes indeed. Which, somewhat appallingly, is not the highest I've backed a game at. Those days are done, however.
Whoa!!!
I will definitely play it when it will get 80% off.
If you don't mind, may I ask you what other projects other than games have you backed at top tier? Actually I am doing a bit of research as most of kickstarter projects from my place fails.
Also any career advice for me would be great.

Btw why other 5 games are not here?
Game looks fantastic and right up my alley. Sort of like Final Fantasy meets Mass Effect meets XCOM? With the world exploration of a MOO / Star Control.

I'm not a "pixel person" generally but these seem clean and crisp enough not to get in the way.

September 9th can't come soon enough... oh... wait ;)
Guessing this will be one of tomorrow's New Releases.

The categories I back almost exclusively these days, outside of Games, are Publishing, Music, Design, and Technology. I do a high-level backing when the project allows personal participation or rewards - contribute to the game design, get a custom portrait done, supply ideas or samples for a musical track. This kind of backer participation is what draws me most to contribute at a high level. Outside of that I usually only go high when the high tier contains a lot of desirable extras.

Here are some of the projects I backed high:

Baby Bestiary Volume 2 & Vol. 1 Reprint - I appear in the book with one of the baby beasts
Bring Back MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 - whole lotta goodies :)
Gumbotron: An album made only from your samples - Entire song made from samples I sent
Music To Die Alone In Space To - Unique version of the album
Murder at the Hollywood Hotel by Rick Geary - Big collection of books tier
Haori Cup: Japanese bentwood drinkwear - Triple cup set
Unraveled: Tale of the Shipbreaker's Daughter - Design the concept for an entire level

This looks really interesting, right up my street.

Wishlisted. Any idea what the price is likely to be?

I assume the same thing happened to them as Babylon 1 thru 4.

Steam has it listed for 19.99 discounted to 16.99.
Soundtrack is 9.99 but bundled with game is discounted to 24.28.
