At least according to IGN. It's supposed to be a new singleplayer roguelike. Will most likely also land here on gog.com.
Yeah, it was mentioned in the "Games that are *unofficially* confirmed for release on GOG in the future part 2" thread a few hours ago by Alexim here...
Looks nice, something to fill the space before their next big game. Although as a fan of Hack 'n' Slash games I wish they made and actual Hack 'n' Slash set in Witcher world.

Sorry, didn't see that.

Witcher 2 and 3 were ARPGs.

Sorry I misspelled, I meant Hack 'n' Slash in the vein of Diablo, Titan Quest etc.
How many "leaders" will it have to deceive people into the GWENT bullshit? That shit made Thronebreaker unpurchaseable.

“ While it does feature some online-only features such as leaderboards and cross-save progression, the overall experience is built for offline, single-player use.”, they still can’t understand the whole offline part can they. Hard pass.

What does "cross-save progression" mean?

Ancient-Red-Dragon: What does "cross-save progression" mean?
The ability to begin playing a game on one platform, and then --- after saving --- to continue from the same place on a different platform.

No announcement yet, but the game is here: https://www.gog.com/en/game/gwent_rogue_mage
Due to its extensive scope and single-player nature, Rogue Mage is distributed separately from GWENT: The Witcher Card Game. Internet connection and GWENT’s multiplayer client are not required to play — the expansion can be launched fully in offline mode at any time. Players can also utilize cross-saves, allowing them to transfer their progress across all supported platforms when logged in via a GOG account.
Sadly Windows only. I'll be interested in the first reports of how it plays under wine.

How exactly do you do an "offline" leaderboard ? everybody has to manually copy their score in a shared google sheets ?

Take a screenshot and email it to GOG, remembering to include your GOG username.

That format worked so well the last time they tried an offline leaderboard contest...

I expect it to play fine - Gwent plays perfectly under wine as long as you have DXVK installed, as did Thronebreaker, and it'll clearly be using mostly the same system. I plan to buy it and try it soon, and I only use Linux.
Am i gonna need ro buy a copy for both pc and mobile to share a file?

I'd normally take up the flag for Wine testing, but this time I'll pass... I've played enough Gwent in The Witcher 3 and then in Thronebreaker. How about some dice poker now? :P
