I know this really should be in the Witcher 3 Forum, but, that forum has been overridden lately with people asking questions or asking for help on the new patch.

I was looking for a physical copy of the Gwent card game. One vendor did have the physical card set, wiht a game code, for a console that I do not have. Is the code console specific? Or can it be applied to any console or PC? Anyone know?

Here is a physical copy for sale on Amazon, although it's way expensive....
Gwent card game can become a big thing if marketed right. I wish it was a regular item you can order anywhere :(

Oh and HI TRENT!!! :D <3

Hi Dreamed! hope things are going well :), but let's not derail the thread I'm sure Stryder would love an answer :)
The first expansion DLC The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone Limited Edition recently released by CDPR comes with following items:

- Hearts of Stone download code,
- Gwent guide,
- Monsters Gwent deck,
- Scoia'tel Gwent deck,
- Gwent tokens,
- Collector's box

It is available from Gamestop in US but from their website it only appears to be for the consoles (PS4 and Xbox One). The download code from either of these definitely won't work for the PC version. Even though it doesn't appear so on the website, you can still contact Gamestop to find out whether they are selling the PC version as well or not.

Also this edition does not contain the previously released Nilfgaard and Northern Realms Gwent decks that were exclusively available in the The Witcher 3 Collector's Edition on Xbox One. CDPR on their forum have hinted at possibly releasing the other missing Gwent decks with the next Expansion DLC "Blood and Wine" but made no promises.

EDIT: One more important thing I forgot to mention is that you can buy the Expansion Pass or just the Hearts of Stone Expansion on GOG and then go to the following website to generate a special code that will enable you to buy the Monsters and Scoia’tael deck set from www.witcherstore.com

Though I am not sure if the Gwent cards are still in stock or not but regardless here is the link with all the details:

redeemgwent.com

If you have any other question or concerns then you can try asking on the official CDPR forum for The Witcher 3.

I wonder how can you use the "Muster" ability with physical cards without looking into your cards.
Thanks to everyone's reply, I really appreciate it.

@ Trent and Dreamed....No problem at all about taking over the thread!! Glad you got to see each other again.
Guys, I'm in possession of all the gwent decks now (inclusive Skellige, ordered it on etsy) I also want a gwent board, to lay the cards on. is saw a couple of wooden boards on etsy, but they cost around 140$ exclusive shipping costs. im thinking about making my own, my girlfriend makes silk-screen prints. so i thought about making them with two wooden boards,(around 85x75 centimeters total) connected with a piano hinge, so its travel friendly. and with the layout of the setup screen-printed on the wood. ( almost all colors are possible) i think i can make them en sell for around 75€. are there people interested in this kind of gwent boards? so yes, i can start the process. for just one board its expansive for me, but if more are interested, its a nice project. so,....... people interested? or any questions?
