So, apparently, End Of Nations devs work on a traditional Real-Time strategy game. Fuck yeah! If last years were extremely sparse at something, it was real-time strategy games genre.

RTS is not my thing at all, but I do like the visuals in that game. RTS tends to be tends to be overly grey and brown, in my experience. I kind of wish there was a good RPG set in this universe.
Well... I suppose there's a reason why RTS genre is so sparse these days :D
I'm waiting for this one, purely because it's made by the Westwood devs. I hope they make a stellar game this time round, their track record in Petroglyph don't seem too great.
Looks awesome, I would buy it, barring any serious issues with it.
I hope it will be available on GOG too .

Grey Goo Launch Trailer
Not sure how i feel about the name, as i was ready the thread title i thought it was some indie plataform game or some kind of sequel to World of Goo, not a rts. The game is coming out in 4 days??? Wow, i didn't even know it existed until today and i consider myself well aware of games coming out...

There was not a lot data about it besides gameplay videos on youtube since the devs canceled the beta and sailed onwards without it. There basically was no marketing for it. The game is a lot more basebuilding oriented and slower paced then any RTS game in last years. Its very close to older C&C games gameplaywise but not quite. Its basically a mix between Universe at War: Earth Assault and Earth 2160 + a bit of Starcraft. The game is priced at 50$/50€.

I know that marketing budgets can be insane and still result in failure but c'mon, it's really 0 marketing for the game, even indie games (rts) like Ultimate Generals Gettysburg had previews and people talking about it on forum, and it worked at least for me, i've bought the game while on EA (still haven't played it lol).

Meanwhile i was watching some videos and it didn't do anything for me and to be fair, even the games that you've mentioned (Universe at war, Earth 2160 and Starcraft) are not my cup of tea, i was never a big fan of weird alien creatures/bases in rts but the slow paced rts base building is a plus to me... uhm....

The problem is that as much as I could see from their forums is that devs don't believe in early access, betas and preorders ultimately killing all the nowadays standard game presentation options. Its the same with Etherium that has even less marketing then Grey Goo. Its as if both game devs wan't to kill their own games.
