That means paying 60 bucks and downloading probably 100 gigabytes just to play this small part of this large MMORPG.

All because I want to see Vvardenfell remade and see how faithful they got it right.

Also I am definatly sure that the Red Mountain will be a WOW style Raid if ESO has that kind of PVE content.

Life's a bitch!
100GB?

What type of internet do they think everyone has? That would take me like 2 weeks to download nonstop.

as a a person that has store bought all the elder scrolls games and played them through... do not buy it, you will be sorry and hate yourself.... its not worth it, i exist only to warn you of the sadness that will fill your heart as you play.

that said if the time comes a private server emerges and you can self host (like Mango and Trinity for WOW) then i would say its ok... but that is the only time i could see it being ok :p
I play it and it's fucking fun and very well done.
Well, I'm certainly not 60$ worth of curious about it :P Not to mention I still have about a million hours of the "real" Morrowind to play through.

Your the guy that recommended me Everquest 1, Everquest 1 sucks, its old and dated.

The interface is just balls, so un-intuitive.
There's something off about that trailer ... can't quite put my finger on it...

Oh wait. The sky wasn't filled with cliff racers.

I knew it was missing something.

I used to hate cliff racers with a passion. Then one day, while looting a pile of their corpses, I noticed something odd about their physiology. Cliff racers have no feet!! Well no wonder these things are so mean and aggressive, they can never land and just take a break. Their entire existence consists of continuous flapping until the day they die. I now feel very sorry for these poor creatures. That doesn't mean I stopped killing them however, the way I see it I'm freeing them from their misery.
They were great target practice for your archery and spearfighting, though. :)

Grabbing my bow, looking up and running backward like some clown when I heard that shriek had become a pavlovian reflex after a few dozen hours.

As for the MMO : Looks pretty, but human-looking dunmers? Naaaah, I'll pass!

I was about to say that.

Actually, if you hit a cliff racer with a weak Levitate spell, when it wears off the cliff racer will have lost the ability to fly and will land, taking falling damage as a result. (Note: One time, when I did this to a cliff racer that was flying over a town, the game crashed, so be careful.)

There are other things you can do. For instance, on default difficulty a spell capable of dealing 45 damage will kill cliff racers. (Hint: Give the spell an area of effect; it doesn't increase the cost as much as it should and it allows you to kill a bunch of them at once.) Use a weak Absorb Fatigue spell with a decent duration and run away, and you likely won't get tired. Absorb Health on them can be an effective healing strategy.

By the way, there is a mod called Racer Recursion, which causes every cliff racer you kill to be replaced with two more. Have fun! (?)

Haha, I'll have to look more closely next time! Is there a mod that gets rid of them altogether? How can they suffer if they don't exist?
