Hi GOG team,

I just bought a bunch of games and got double-charged for them (confirmed it via my online banking).

Even though the games are available to play in GOG Galaxy, when I go to Orders & Settings on browser, it says "Not Paid Yet" next to the order. Even though I got double-charged for that order in reality...

Is this typical? Will I get my money back for the extra payment (order ID is #ba035f151836)? I am panicking right now as this is a large sum for me

Today is Sunday, so most likely the reply could take longer than on Monday to Friday.

See if you can cancel one of these bank charges directly from your bank app or web if the transaction is recent.
Thanks! I could not cancel one of the bank charges and, thus, contacted GOG via the form. Hope this gets resovled (relatively quickly)!
Less important than getting the matter resolved, but as a possible reason I wonder if your mouse's microswitches are weakening and it's occasionally double clicking?
Not that it should matter. Seeing as you can't buy the same games twice for yourself, nor twice in the same day as a gift, GOG should really implement a protection against this.

Then I doubt very much that you were charged twice. More likely that the funds are reserved and will be released back into your account eventually. The only time I've experienced this -- with a different vendor -- it took about 14 days to get the money back. Calling the bank didn't help, but your mileage may vary.

If so, let us know. I'm interested how long it takes nowadays.
The very few problems I had were resolved very quickly. But that was years ago.
Update: It seems that GOG removed the games that I bought and also refunded one of the two charges.

Now I am left with a valid single charge but with none of those games, really annoying. Hope the GOG support team emails me soon so we can solve this...
