Emachine9643: may i ask where you saw this film?
avatar
awalterj: I used Google to find an online stream (Putlocker e.g.) This is a movie that would be worth seeing at the theater, never showed around my area though.

avatar
superstande: That is good! Ah, yeah! :)
I wished there were more zombie movies made with such... style :)
avatar
awalterj: The French who seem to have a natural knack for style don't make a lot of zombie movies, that's why there aren't many stylish zombie movies around :/
Watched it last nite, twice. Buying it at the week-end.

Cheers for that, awalterj; It's a proper drama, as well as a proper zombie film.

awalterj:
Found it, watched it and thank you. Very good movie and really good actors.

Lifthrasil: Nah. Wouldn't make sense. Perhaps Town can recruit instead? Like this: they decide whom to bite at Nightfall (instead of lynching. Since lynching zombies doesn't make much sense). If the bitten person already is zombie (Town), s/he dies. If the person is human, s/he becomes converted to zombie.
Only problem: the new town recruit would know who the other humans were. Unless they aren't able to communicate. Hm. I have to think on this.
Also, what would be the humans' win condition? And if they're the ones to be zombified, can they be the (informed) minority?
If the zombies are the good guys, perhaps de-zombifying is the way to go - you know, go parody all the way.

But I like the biting idea!

tinyE: Did you read the book?
I have not read the book I have heard that almost everything was changed, well at least Will Smith played good
+1

As a fan of Dylan Dog comics i very much enjoyed in this one.

Siegor: I highly reccomend the australian movie Undead (2003) and the norwegian Dead Snow (2009).
I remember seeing this australian zombie movie really late on SBS once, it was weird as all hell, the zombies were like created by aliens or something in the end.

Yes, that's it. And it has the best concealed weapon moment in movie history!
The best zombie movie is: The Serpent and the Rainbow

The Dead

Directed by Howard J. Ford in 2010, released in 2011.

Set in India and an interesting atmospheric watch.

gloombandit: Quarantine, Rec 1 & Rec 3
avatar
tinyE: I LOVED Quarantine, but I can't find any other fans of it.
I liked it but I like [REC] better.
Not a pure zombie movie, but Pet Sematary is a good one and the best movie inspired by Stephen King's books IMO.

pimpmonkey2382.313: I agree with this list, and also add night of the living dead 1990.

They already started to on day of the dead, well, bub anyway.

tinyE: We are friends, good friends, but if you ever recommend the 1990 remake again, so help me god I will remove your entrails with a spoon and feed them to my donkeys. :P
I would recommend the remake of Night of the Living Dead also. Good film. :p
