I tried to log in to GoG from Chrome, typical type in email, password, yada yada, but when I got to the 2-step verification page, things got complicated. Of course, GoG has sent a mail to my account for the 4-digit code, but when I typed it in, it was deemed "incorrect." I tried resending it again and again, it just shows up as incorrect. Now I'm faced with my account getting locked for 12 hours if I try another attempt. is the GoG 2-step verification bugged or what?

Hmm, strange. Did you understand that every time there will be a NEW code sent and you must use that one? I cannot think of anything else right now except I always copy and paste the code to be sure it is correct.
Make sure you really input the code which they sent in the last e-mail. It is different every time.

Maybe there was a time-out?

Temporary glitch on server side?

You're from the Philippines. Do you use any input method editor which may "convert" the digits you type into some other characters?

Did you copy and paste from the email or actually type it in?
Copy/paste can include some behind the scenes formatting.

There is also the option of turning off the 2 step verification, if you are able to login from your usualy device to skip the 2step verification.
Late reply, I was offline by the time I received the messages

hmmm... for some reason, it keeps sending the same code as before. I'm not sure if this is just en error, but I'll try again later and see if it works this time.

Yes, I put the code sent from the latest email I received, and yes I hope it's just a server-side glitch as I will be trying it again later. I don't use any input editor so I don't see how this could affect some characters.

I always type it in, I know there'll be some errors when I copy-paste the code. the option of turning off 2-step verification still needs the code to be disabled, which makes it out of the question for now.

I'll be trying again later and see if it's just some error on the server-side. thanks for the replies guys.

edit: it seems though that the server-side was bugged during my log in; I was now successful in logging into GoG from my browser. Again, thanks for the help and replies guys! (I was expecting a derelict thread with no replies :P )
