May you improve your trolling skills in the new 2019, because this stuff you wrote here is very weak.

I keep coming back, because I receive notifications about forum replies. You know, Gog sends notifications to its users about forum replies. Weak stuff you got here. :-)

Tauto: Yes, it's a business and will only get worse.People that, don't think this is happening are very naive.
If anyone is interested in the use of session replay scripts among different websites then here is a nice summary of the risks associated with these third party tools and how they work https://freedom-to-tinker.com/2017/11/15/no-boundaries-exfiltration-of-personal-data-by-session-replay-scripts/

And here is a list of websites that are using some kind of session replay script: https://webtransparency.cs.princeton.edu/no_boundaries/session_replay_sites.html

GoG's not on that list, but that doesn't mean they don't employ similar tools.

Jesus wept. Just when I believe it cant get worse.......big brother is here to stay. Analytics already determine the price of your insurance, who insures you, what type of bank loan and what rate you get, whether you get a job, what type of job, what type of school loan and for how much, interest rates, what shop coupons or discounts you see on your online page, limits what browser returns for info you get................. I already knew about watching your behavior as you browse, where you mouse goes and for how long but this takes it to a new level of intrusiveness.

disgusting. and im not talking about the sleeze who makes this types of program or the sleeze who buy it. Im talking about the populace who allow this to happen and think its the norm. We are only a step or two away from full on facist overwatch, where its not marketing and shopping and money as the priority but control and regulation of an entire populace.

fuck that. glad im old.

I'm not sure the general public is aware of the level of tracking happening and how it handles that data. I'm only aware of this because of my line of work. It's not exactly information that is heavily reported on outside of IT security circles.
