Hi, does anybody else have this kind of problem?

For payments online i use paypal, but i haven't connected a payment card to it, instead i've connected my bank account.

I've already purchased multiple times from gog (and other places) without problems, but now everytime i go to checkout i get the screen where paypal wants me to add a payment card to my account. I've contacted paypal but they say that the problem is not on their end.

At the same time purchasing the same game (cp2077) on steam lets me pay on paypal without payment cards (directly from my bank account, as always). So has anything changed in the last few days on gog? Less than a week ago i bought dragon's dogma and everything was fine.. thank you.

Hi Markzo.

It sounds like you bought a lot of games recently and/or preordered multiple copies of CyberPunk 2077 and you reached your daily purchases limit on GOG.com. This should reset 24-hours after you triggered it.

Cheers.

Please reach out to our Support with your issue, they'll be able to help you out :) Once you submit a ticket, you can send me the ticket #ID so I can try to assist you quicker.
My understanding has always been that payment troubles have very high priority with support.

Hi, thanks for the replies! Anyway, I don't think i've bought many games lately (thronebreaker, dragon's dogma and redeemed witcher 1 and 2 from steam (just found out i could do it)) and also i didn't preorder cp2077 from gog or steam (tried in gog when it came out and couldn't, tried on steam just to see if i could but didn't place the order in the end).

I also opened a ticket with support but there was also a suggestion on asking on the forum, so that's why i did so. Anyway, i've bypassed the issue by not using paypal, so it's done. =)

Thank you all for your replies!

That's virtually always the case. It turns out that businesses like money. :-P
