The re-design ditches GOG-Mixes from the store page seemingly for no reason (one of the coolest original GOG features).

A non-Windows user that had fast access to lists like "Adamhm's Linux Wine Wrappers" or "Mac Friendly/Open Source games" now has a faaaaaaar worse experience. Windows users also appreciated the feature. Can you say "bad UX design"? Unless they are working on something to replace the feature (like an extended tag system), this is very shortsighted.

(by the way, the fact that Adamhm wasn't recruited by GOG and isn't officially making wrappers as a response to Steam's Proton is ridiculous)

I would like GOGmixes back too, they were helpful. And I'm sure I'm in the minority of modern consumers, but my free, unsolicited business advice is to be different, not the same.

I care more about the opinions of a fellow DRM-free gamer, and enjoy seeing a link to such, than I do about YouTube and Twitch personalities who pick a list of games (do they even pick the games themselves?).

Yes, that's literally the concept of the collections.

As for the mixes, we're still in the teething stages of the redesign, hold tight.

Thanks for the reply here, Linko!
I think, some time ago they've mentioned that devs who worked on part of gog, related to mixes, left their company. Probs thats the reason. Hopefully we will get proper curators (like on steam) soon

Good to know they are coming back! :)

Na Curators is not a great idea. It's focussed on personalities, instead of the theme of a set of games.
I personally have several mixes, each different themes.

I hope GOG does something to fix and preferably enhance them.
Hope they will come back. The info from GOG Mixes is often more useful than most other things on the game page.

While it's nice to hear they are coming back, I presume overhauled GOGmixes won't use the old style box art?

I'll have to look elsewhere for box art in that case...

Can you plz redesign it to the way it used to be as currently its hard to tell wtf is getting sold with no title other then holding your mouse over it and trying to read the super small text (i have a 1080p monitor not 480p) also get rid of all the spam as all the Stellaris dlc has taken up half the page.

Edit: also get rid of the google/youtube spyware.

Eeeh, I'm going to be honest, I didn't find much use in the mixes.

Most of them were basically [USERNAME'S] WIDGETY LIST OF GAMES USING OVERTLY SPECIFIC CRITERIA.

Even the only one I looked at, the BOG was at best quite spotty in providing actual information about allegedly bad games.

Many of them have been outmoded or been made redundant now due to new browsing options.

Oh no !

I can't live without the " no polish language no buy " GOGmix .

There are theme-based collections further down the front page, though.

To be honest I had absolutely no use out of the mixes and never made one myself, but it still feel disrespectful towards the users who took time to make them to just ditch them like that. It's downright bizarre how on one hand GOG is pushing various social/community features, but ditch one that was already in place, popular, unintrusive and as far as I know unique to GOG. All to introduce a all-round inferior layout.

Thanks for the information, but how about releasing a site redesign /after/ the teething stage?
