A little over a week ago I wrote to GOG Support to let them know that some of the games on here aren't properly tagged as having controller support. This is bad both for finding new games that you can play with a controller as well as ones in your library. I even gave them a list of the following games to help them get started with fixing this issue:

- SteamWorld Heist
- Hyperdimension Neptunia (the first one, the latter two have the tag)
- Yooka-Laylee
- Rayman Raving Rabbids
- GoNNER
- LIMBO
- Owlboy
- Oniken
- Darkest Dungeon
- Cornerstone: The Song of Tyrim
- Several BIT.TRIP games, possibly all of them
- Both of the Shantae games
- Legend of Kay
- Crypt of the Necrodancer
- Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition
- Pid
- Freedom Planet
- Stealth Bastard

They responded and told me that they let their product team know, but so far not a single game listed has been fixed. I'm hoping this is just because of the product team being busy rather than ignoring the problem, but until they get the time to fix this, here's a GOGmix for those interested. Obviously I can't play and test every game on my own, the ones currently added are just from memory, so please give me any suggestions you have and I'll add them.

EDIT: Since the games should now all be tagged correctly, I decided to just delete the GOGmix.

Elminage Gothic. The game (since it's a port from the PSP) can be played entirely with a controller.

Another distinction to make is if the joystick supports Xinput, Dinput, or other/unknown.

Awesome! Thank you! I guess the GOGmix isn't needed then. Maybe this thread can still help for any other games people know of that are missing the tag?

As far as I know, Terraria has had native controller support since sometime in 2015, but the product page still doesn't reflect this.

The Swindle is missing the controller support tag.

I'm playing Mirror's Edge with a controller now (with wine, using x360ce) and it's got button hints and everything.

I can confirm the following GOG games have controller support:

· BloodRayne: Betrayal
· Feist
· Ronin



PS: There are other games from my collection that I'd swear also have controller support but I don't know for sure. I'm gonna install them now and report later.

Alright, here's the report.


1) All of the following games supported my shitty 360-clone gamepad on Linux:

· Dreamfall Chapters
· Not a Hero
· Shadow Warrior (2013)
· Shelter 2 (*)
· The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human
· Ziggurat

(*) Neither the Special Edition Upgrade nor the Mountains DLC are marked with controller support, but the Special Edition is.



2) Then there are two games I have doubts about:

· MIND: Path to Thalamus: I couldn't get my gamepad to work, but the in-game control help panel suggests that gamepads should be supported. I guess it's worth mentioning I only tested the Enhanced Edition, as there's no Linux build of the original.

· Psychonauts: I couldn't get my gamepad to be recognized by the game either, but the Humble Bundle version did support it. Did anyone have better luck than me with this game?

- Stardew Valley
- Tropico 5
- Grand Ages Medieval
