Where do I buy gift cards for GOG.com ? Do they even exist ? I do not have a credit or debit card so that is not an option. I see a field where you can input numbers to redeem a code, are these prepaid cards ? If so where can I get one ? I need to get my classic gaming fix !! Help !!

There are no gift cards for GOG. That field where you input numbers is to redeem a game you have received as a gift in code form.

They don't exist, you'll need a credit or debit card (some prepaid ones will work) or a PayPal account.
There are no GOG cards but GOG accepts Paysafe cards.

You might have a hard time trying to buy them though. I have heard several users in the USA complain that they are not very common there.
Gog actually promised(?) there would be a Gog wallet at some point to enable store credit other then to combat regional pricing?
So there may be an option to buy store credit in gift card form in the future.
But until then, I suggest you set up a PayPal account and transfer funds there via a temporary card such as linked?

Sorry about reviving a zombie thread but I found this one searching for gift cards and the wallet capability noted above is now up and running. With the holidays fast approaching I hope this enables us to buy Gog gift cards for our gaming friends/family. The future is now?

You still can't gift Wallet funds, though. Or buy Wallet funds from any retail store.
You'd likely be better off just directly gifting a game to somebody until...oh, around 5 years down the road, given how long it normally takes for GOG to fix old features rather than implementing new ones.

Well IF you can log in to the giftee account, you can always just load their wallet funds directly...

You could also get paysafe cards. You just buy them from a local dealer, buy your games on GOG and it will redirect you via paysafe option. The disadvantage i.e. you buy 25$ and a game (or collection) cost 25.01 $ you have to get another card. (ok not really a card, just a paper slip with 16 (?) digits ;) )

That's how I shop here.

If you click on sales outlet finder and enter your town it will show which shops sell those.

1. This thread was necro'd. The OP is from a year and a half ago. =)

B. Paysafecards aren't really a thing in this country. I remember another U.S. user a year or two ago posting about his difficulty finding a store that actually carried them in his city (and he had specifically asked for them in stores that the PSC website said carried them); I don't know that he ever was able to find one. I also have very low hopes that the one convenience store in my town that's listed as carrying them actually does so (if I remember, I might stop and check, just for shiggles).

okay, that is weird.....when I responded I really only saw the OPs comment, nothing else.....

Even when editing and zeogold posting only the two of us, and I do not see any indication of my edit......
really strange.....
But normally for your part ;) paysafe only lists really the shops selling it.

EDIT: sorry wrong, that was another thread (blush)

I did check in the c-store that supposedly sold them here, and to my surprise, they actually had some! (Along with at least two other competing types of "buy digital currency to buy games online" cards that I'd never heard of.)
EDIT: typo fixin'
