So, I am trying to buy VTMB for a few friends, and after the second one, I keep getting the "Payment declined" bank message. I tried it with two different cards, and then put money in my GoG wallet, no issue...and then it declined my GOG wallet, with the same bank message. On both GOG galaxy and in my browser.

What gives? Is there a daily limit?

Of course, this leads to the issue of there being no bank i can go to for "confirming" or "fixing" a purchase. So what do I do?

Probably wait a few days, maybe even contact support. It's possible they had lots of fraudulent purchases so they implemented some sort of protection. I think new accounts have a limit on how many gifts they can purchase per day.
Well, he registered 2009 and has 135 games, so he`s definitely not a newbee!
I know it'll never happen, but I wish GOG had Gift Cards like Steam and Blizzard do.

I agree, it would be nice to be able to gift wallet credits.

You can gift PaySafeCard codes.

Just not a major forum user. :) (12 rep compared to everyone's 500+ here) I picked up GOG back when it was "Good Old Games".

@blotunga, yah I sent in a ticket. They responded for a screenshot, but I may just have to wait. My main issue though is that this may limit the number of friends I gift to. Needing to wait 24 hrs to buy it again for another person it really frustrating.
I'm not sure how their anti-fraud works, but I do know that there are limits on gifting because of stolen creditcards being used to buy games and then those are sold on G2A & co. Of course it's not your case, but someone could hijack your account, I guess, so probably they are just being overly paranoid.
missed your edit, sorry

Strangely, a lot of people have no idea what those even are.
