clarry: For me it's been like that for as long as I remember (OP).

I certainly had that issue in a sale years ago.
Not sure, could be. But I am pretty sure that in some earlier sales, back when I had much less GOG games, I made several purchases within a day.

I guess banks don't want to approve too many "small" purchases from the same store, thinking someone has stolen the debit card.

Oh and now it occurred to me though that earlier I used to use the credit card, but nowadays I prefer using debit (because then my bank account is more on "real time"). Maybe the issue is mainly with debit, and not with credit, not sure.

timppu: [… I] have to wait the next day and then I fret that I don't remember them then (unless I wishlist them) or that the sale ends or GOG runs out of those games or whatever.
Depending on your configuration, you can add titles to your cart and log out to have them still there when you return, which would prevent you losing them. When I log back in the cart remains filled with whatever games I put in it before, and I can quickly see if the items are still on sale.

Dark_art_: Even the "evil" paypal didn't block my account because I always opt out to not give them (for years) phone number, the popups are indeed annoying but that's it.
Well, spoke too soon!
Actually the "evil" paypal did blocked my account behind a phone number.

It's that time to get some new numbers...
