Overhaul their curation system? they don't even have a system in place since everything is based on taste if you had any sorta system you'd have criteria, which they don't have. I thought giving people what they want was the idea behind the wishlist? which has been shown to be obsolete.

I think it's kinda sad people don't talk about it which show the stupidity behind people choices in the world when people are happy with getting less when they could get more it shows how much people are like ''Tools'' No free-thinking, no subjective opinion, just simple yes nodding towards what's in front of them never wondering why they couldn't get something different.

This fragile child baby generation needs somebody else to pick the games for them in case they might get something that might offend them or something that is too difficult for them. kinda reminds me of all the crybabies who couldn't play Dark souls or bloodborne simply cause they sucked so they need those games to conform to their slow assed reaction or lack of skill.

There is a system is place, it's just never made clear (or even outlined) to the public, which then just leave for people to speculate. Could call it short sighted, lazy or just overlooked, but a simple outline of the process to the public would make things much easier and stop any theories popping in.

Must be a vert bad system when it shows double standards when it comes to what to release since some games that are accepted are from a publisher that don't even update their games on GOG. While others that show support by patching their games even on GOG get rejected ''Wizardry'' for instance. I would even say their rejection of games simply causes the AO rating is childish since we don't all live in hippie land and expect the world to be an SJW utopia. You'd say that this would be nothing more than giving your competitors and edge over you when it comes to choice.

Hyperbole.....they likely have taste just not one that always matches ours.

The wishlist was put in place likely to gauge interest in games so they could entice devs/IP holders here during the early days of gog, and also to know which titles to try getting first/earlier than others if they could.

Most people are capable of free thinking...they just choose not to employ it much or at all in some cases.....due to things like: laziness, apathy, etc.

And I find it funny you chastise others for it when we likely all have done such at some point for something. ;)

I think it's more people are as said above: lazy and apathetic for the most part....as long as they get something good to play for cheap they are likely happy with the system as is(for the most part).

Tbh I wish those games DID have an easy mode.....imo making games tough with no easy mode cuts out potential sales, which could net them more money.

(Note: Not super easy mode....just a basic easier mode)
There is nothing bad about Gog Support at all. They are hard to contact on weekends (because of skeleton staff) but always get back to me on Monday or Tuesday. So, OP you are incorrect.
Urgh, a whole week and no response to my ticket. If they can't/won't fix the problem, I'm asking for a refund instead. Even if I didn't care about the issue, just on principle alone I'm miffed that GOG and devs are both radio-silent.
