Outdated games would be a bigger priority to me than the store (Slender, Vlambeer, etc.), though that is different departments (biz-dev, website dev, etc.)
I'm glad to see others share my thoughts. I'll say it again but path of least resistance is immensely important in my opinion when it comes to dealing with customers. The only evidence I have of it affected GOG is friends and acquaintances I've encouraged to stop by and only the most adamant about DRM and/or dev support has stuck around.

It's very annoying to "window shop" from the home page right now as you lose your skimming progress. Even if you go to the proper criteria on your own, let's say "Bestsellers", and click a title that you're curious about, only to backspace, you end up on the homepage if you were initially on the first page.
Maybe it's not much of a big deal but it's little things like this that make GoG less than ideal for shopping/perusing than it should be. Figured I'd bring it up and see what others think.
To me first impression matters a lot, and I know Good Old Gaming probably doesn't immediately appeal to a younger demographic most of the time but there's a lot of new games on the platform now and if newcomers are going to be rolling through and run into slight annoyances then they're bound to just stick with Steam before even giving this a try. Newcomers aside, as a normal shopper it'd just be a slight improvement.
Share any improvements you have if you'd like as well. Little things DO matter.

My only real gripe with the storefront is on the mobile side of things. I'm okay with the regular browser version on my computer, but the mobile site on my phone is not good.

As a side note, I would recommend to avoid hitting "back" while shopping. You are very lucky if you only lose shopping progress. It depends on shop. You may as well update you cart with more items (for example, instead of one usb-flash you'll have two in the cart) or, in the worst case, you'll repeat the payment request (if you happen to finish the shopping process for every item you want to buy and then use "back" to return to the main page or something alike).

Hitting "back" to go from an item's page to a homepage or list of game should have no bearing on cart or purchase. Always remember to double check the initial order + confirmation.
