Hey, you guys didn't see the GOG based Steam skin I'm making yet... :)

It's not just hot... it's Steamy... :)

Ah, finally I can have DRM to control my GOG experience. Thanks, skeletonbow!

I know you responded to me. I was pinged. I know it was you.
Get back here and make that shameless pun you erased.

I'm so surprised that you're making one, I'm GOGsmacked.

...nobody's going to get that one, but you can't discredit me for lack of trying.

LOL

The idea was more to thumb my nose up at Steam. :) I mean, buying a game at GOG through Steam's client is kind of like going to Walmart and borrowing their phone to order something over the phone from Target... Sort of a "haha! Screw you Walmart!" :)

All done in fun of course. I am neither a Steam lover nor hater. I have and use Steam but I much prefer the DRM-free experience of GOG whenever possible. :)

I thought it would also be a kind of humorous form of non-illegal vandalism to make Steam look GOG themed. :) Mind you, just for some screenshot laughs. I didn't have any plans to release it publicly and I'm not sure anyone else would want it anyway. :)

What, you mean like, the entire Steam-using portion of the forum?

Are you suggesting there might be a demand? :)

Well, judging from the high rating of the OP...

Good point! :)

Had another thought... GOG should submit GalaxyClient to Steam Greenlight for inclusion in the "Software" category. That would really test just how loose Greenlight is. LOL

Wouldn't work, pretty sure Itch.io tried that with their client but got denied.

Could be considered too niche for Steam. :) GOG is in high demand though. Hell, they accepted this, and nobody can tell me that GOG Galaxy is less popular than that. :)

....I'm honestly not sure I can't.
