BreOl72: You're not really asking why GOG handles things
inconsistently, are you?
;) How is this different from that?
PixelBoy: Well, I guess this specific case is a new feature that I haven't seen before. I suppose it can be counted as one more inconsistent thing.
I was trying to find out how much additional purchases this bundle will cause for those who want to get complete editions of everything.
Unless I missed or misunderstood something, it's like this:
Kingdom Come Deliverance: 13 DLCs, 5 of them free
Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales: 1 DLC, free
ELEX: 1 DLC
Vampyr: 1 DLC
Wasteland 3: Colorado Collection: 1 DLC
GreedFall – Gold Edition: 1 DLC
Darksiders III Deluxe Edition: complete, no additional purchases needed.
So while the bundle is a great deal, you get only one truly complete edition. To get them all completed, you need to get 18 DLCs after that. It is a bit shady, but of course that's how the game business is these days.
Not counting that GreedFall thing, Wasteland 3 is actually the most confusing case.
The gamecard says: "The entire Wasteland 3 experience in one colossal collection."
But to get "the entire experience" in addition to "Colorado Collection" you also need to buy "Digital Deluxe Edition" to get stuff like... manual?!
I think charging extra for a digital manual is a bit much. Of course with the bundle price + holiday sale it's affordable, but doesn't feel right.
Aimed at us KCD base-game owners on GOG here.
Would buying KCD Royal Upgrade here on GOG net us all the missing DLC's that aren't in the KCD Base-Game?
