Hi, I think it is only supported in Windows XP to Windows 8. I couldn't find much support for Europa Universalis 1.

I've read that many games have issues in Windows 10., including EU4. Supposed Fix for EU4 ..
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAbSQpKZjp4

It might run on / in Virtualbox (free), VMware Player (free), QEMU (Linux, Free), Windows XP Mode and / or Windows Virtual PC. Maybe .. worth a try?

Seems to me there is Linux versions of these games and they play quite well.

Anyway, I've never returned a game, so I don't know anything about that.

Good Luck!

You are trying to run the game on a Windows version (10) it is not supported (at least not yet), so it might be you are not eligible for a refund. Your machine does not meet the minimum requirements, like not running Windows 10.

Then again, might be that GOG refunds you anyway, if they are in a nice mood. Who knows, never hurts to try.

hercufles: Wanted to know how you return a game, anyone knows that?
If you want to return it because it doesn't work on your machine, then contact support. And if support can't help you get it working, GOG will give you a refund. But they won't just give you a refund first.

CharlesGrey: Why is that? Seems you've been a member for a while. Why would you suddenly decide to stop buying games here?

Potzato: What you quote can be interpreted in different ways I think. Depends on how you fix it up.
Is it :
'the last game you will ever buy in here'
or
'of all the games you ever bought in here, it's the last one'
?
I interpret it as a rage-quit, and I don't really understand the reason. Apparently he even made a mistake himself, because the game isn't officially compatible with his OS... ?

Give them some time. Don't know when you sent your first support request, but apparently they aren't available on weekends.

yeah and i noticed it was my own fault didnt saw that win 10 wasnt in min spec oh well maybe in the near future.
It worked on 8, which means there is a good chance GoG can fix it as well. I've actually had good luck with a lot of the games not yet called Win 10 compatible. I've run into a few graphics glitches that resolve by popping to desktop and back, but most of them work for me. I tried EU1, and I get the same as you, nothing displayed, no icon, and a process in the background using a third of my CPU.
Oh well it worked i got my money back now wait till there is something comes that i want to buy :)
