"Thomas Was Alone's minimalist appearance is not a barrier, but a launch pad.The best indie games make a virtue of the limitations put upon them by resource and technology. That's exactly what developer Mike Bithell has done with Thomas, crafting a charming, sharp and smart puzzle-platformer. It's a fascinating example of great writing being able to stir the imagination, building personality out of the simplest visual tools and sharp language. Each quadrilateral character in Thomas Was Alone has its own worries and traits, narrated with real delight, wit and verve by Danny Wallace. And David Housden's wonderful, understated score lays down an irresistible aural backdrop to the basic but beautiful visuals. " - Tom Hoggins

I tweeted Mike Bithell, creator of Thomas Was Alone: "@mikeBithell If @GOGcom contacted you & said that they want to be in the Mike Bithell business, would you consider selling your games there?"

His response: "@Barry_Woodward @GOGcom unfortunately, they refused to sell TWA"

Vote for it on the wishlist and hope GOG reconsiders:

O_O
Well, Thomas Was Alone is a popular game which I heard is great, but I don't know how I feel about this.
More and more "niche" decision at GOG's these days huh.

Edit: @all. It's means GOG's hate money / profit so just buy the game elsewhere. As simple as that. If the games appear at GOG in the future just smile and ignore it, It's they lost. There are ton's of others who sell DRM free games.

NOT COOL, GOG!
}:-(
The narration was so wonderfully executed that even I (of all people) was interested in a platformer with puzzles. I got stuck somewhere when I need to jump a screen that was constantly moving but WOW the narrative was great...

So yeah, really bad idea not to publish it here...

that really sucks :S
I hope that GOG becomes more inclusive. Without the freedom of choice that diversity offers, there is no meaning in DRM-free.
I enjoyed Thomas was alone. It's a short and relatively easy game, but it was fun.

I'll vote for it on the wishlist.
To be fair to GoG, does it make sense to add a game that has already been released in a ton of bundles? I've had a hard time giving away a Steam key for the game, Still have a copy in my current giveaway.

exactly... this game has been available elsewhere so many times I bet almost everyone has it at the moment... maybe the work needed to bring it here isn't worth the profit

They rejected it before it was in the Humble Bundle, I believe.

What work would be needed to bring it here?

Are you serious? . GOG's rejected the game and the game has already been bundled is not related at all.
There are ton's of games out there which been rejected by GOG's has never been bundled before.

I think they decide to limit the number of releases so that all the developers get some attention. This can involve super high standards.
