Hello GOG.
I'm a good customer, who has bought many many games from you.
So clearly I have supported you.
How about you support me and other similar folk.

Last year I went away on holiday in May, and it was too difficult, impossible or painful to check GOG or email each day, and so I missed out on a free game. Same thing happened this year in April.

As it is, I have bought so many games from you, that often I already have the free game. But as luck would have it, not the two games you gave away in May last year and April this year.

It would be nice, if you had a setting that I could select in my profile, where I indicated I want all free games ... automatically ... because I always do, regardless of the game.

Cheers

P.S. When not on holiday traveling across the country, out of range etc, I visit GOG virtually every day.

P.S.S. I have brought several folk to your shores.

I see these free games as kind of a "reward" for you being here, visiting the store (and buying stuff, while you're here).

Automatically adding them to the account of everyone who checks a box in their account settings would not encourage anyone to visit the store (and then, hopefully, buy something).

That would mean to just give away free stuff to people who have shown no other interest in GOG.com as to get free stuff.

Those people simply would have to log in from time to time to see, what "GOG the Giftshop" has given them in the meantime.

It would also probably open the door for people with several alt accounts to grab as many keys as possible, to sell later on, and make a profit with something, which they received for free (depending on how the give away works, of course).

To be fair to me, I never said anything about making it available to everyone. In fact, I described the type of customer I am, and said they should support me and customers like me, as we have supported GOG a lot, and come here virtually every day anyway ... exceptions like holidays aside.

And also because we have bought a lot from GOG, we often miss out on free games, because we already own them at GOG.

See it as a way of rewarding good customers.

There are many folk out there who mostly, sometimes only, just grab the free games, who use the various notification sites out there to grab free games from wherever they appear. None of that really supports GOG.
