Hello, I recently got Doom Ultimate for gog, however whenever I launch it I instead enter the dosbox mounting screen. This is odd as I lined the shortcut that starts Doom automatically, when I click on the shortcut itself the game launches, however when I link it to my GOG library I instead enter dos box. Any solutions?

For the Doom Engine games (Doom 1-2, Heretic, Hexen & Strife), honestly you're better off downloading the GZDoom source port, install it then drop all the WAD files from your GOG install into its folder. It's a lot more pleasant to play vs DOSBox.

Take a look at your Target in the shortcut link. There should be two arguments specified for -conf files. One of the conf files is for hardware settings, the other is generally the mounting and startup of the executable.
