Nice! This is the second 3+ year old thread necro I've seen here today! Some serious hudu goin' 'round!
I think there has been a few other older thread's necro'd.... 2008 anyone? :D
I'm going to go against what I'm about to say, but I hope people will stop bumping this and let it fall back down b/c it's giving people false hope as soon as they see the title.

I might like to see a blue lock this thread, but that might be "extreme".

I promise this will be the last time I bump it - but really? I had no clue people cared that much about Outlaws! All I can remember are those terrible FMV screen captures of some guy with a badly blacked out tooth! (or am I thinking of the wrong game - this isn't a Lucasarts adventure is it?)

I do believe you're thinking of Mad Dog McCree, or Dust: A Tale of the Wired West. Outlaws was completely animated and no FMV cinematics as far as I can remember. I had the game at one point but I am not sure what happened to it. It's a shame because it's one of the few Lucas Arts games I do not own some variation of (original disc/steam/etc...). If GOG happens to get it, that would be a day one purchase for me. Also it was an FPS not a Lucas Arts Adventure Game. :)

With all of these new Lucasarts releases, does this mean we'll be seeing an OUTLAWS release?! 8D
Necro-thread!

But seriously, will GOG get Outlaws? There are over 2600 votes for it!

No no, the thread title being an outright lie is plenty of justification. Fucking kill it.

I bet you regret saying that now. :)

Deus_Ex: I'd still prefer outlaws. Still, it's very unlikely we'll see Lucasarts games in the near future. If the GOG staff can prove me wrong I'll do something drastic like wear my pants upside down and post a pic as proof. In the meantime (is that spelled together?) I'd like to know if desperadoes is any good, since I never played it. I'm not a huge fan of tactic games, but I loved Bahamut Lagoon and Valkyria Chronicles.
I'm curious where the pic of you wearing your pants upside down is? haha

His post is 6 years old and back then he was right. We didn't see any LucasArts games in the near future. At least I wouldn't call 3.5 years later the "near future". Not for a niche store like "Good Old Games", which was only 2.5 years old (and still in BETA?!) back then ;)

While you're otherwise correct, GOG went out of beta on September 22, 2010 and the post is from April 2011. I remember it really damn well because the site went offline for the update a day after I signed up while homeless and I wasn't able to download all the games I bought over dodgy wifi.

That's why I put the question mark there. I can't (and don't want to remember) when they pulled that stupid PR stunt. I only remember that I was pretty pissed, because Good Old Games had to shut down their service shortly after I discovered them -.-
Why did someone bump this thread? it's been available for over a year now.

Probably because of https://www.gog.com/forum/general/outlaws_20th_anniversary_reunion_event_on_facebook_325_326
