Are there instances where GOG backtracks on their rejection of a game and puts it back on the store? I vaguely recall a rejected game being put back in the catalog after an outcry or upvotes on the community wishlist sometime last year or so. Damned if I can recall what the game was though

Yes, games such as Dex, Opus Magnum, The Quest, Heaven's Vault, The Count Lucanor, Dark Quest, and Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls were all initially rejected, but eventually came to GOG due to wishlist votes, and presumably other factors.
What made GOG reverse their decision to reject Gemcraft?
